The Maldives Institute of Local Governance (MILG), in collaboration with the Local Government Authority (LGA), has announced the winners of the Decentralization Quiz 3, held in celebration of MILG’s 6th Year Anniversary.

The quiz was conducted for 7 days on MILG’s Instagram and Facebook accounts, featuring daily questions on decentralization. The correct answers were shared the following day along with the next question. Among participants who followed to all rules, the ten individuals with the highest number of correct responses were selected to advance to the final draw, where the winners were determined.

The draw was livestreamed on MILG’s Facebook account, bringing excitement and transparency to the selection process.

Winners of the Decentralization Quiz 3 are as follows:

1st Place – Abdul Ahadh Abdul Rasheed: MVR 1,500 cash prize

2nd Place – Ristha Moosa: MVR 1,000 cash prize

3rd Place – Aminath Mohamed: MVR 500 cash prize

This marks the second year MILG has organized the Decentralization Quiz on social media, continuing its efforts to raise awareness about the decentralization system and encourage public engagement with the activities of LGA and MILG.
